In the company, we have a habit of saying “Olive oil is handed down from father to son”. Mohamed Ali Kotti is a passionate producer and a well-known Tunisian olive grower, who combines organic farming with the production of high-quality oil. His olive trees are mainly located in the regions of Sfax, the Sahel and the north-west of the country. Olea Kotti sprouted up from a passion and love for the olive tree, passed on from father to son for three generations.
It is the story of a family that has been able to respect, maintain and cultivate their olive trees, some of which date back to 1890, whose rough and often twisty trunks dot this enchanting landscape. The Domain Olea Kotti, is one of the most award-winning companies in Tunisia and will be able to boast a most special recognition received in the EVO IOOC Italy 2023, the title of Best of Tunisia 2023, a category in which it is the reigning champion, as well as being the best Tunisian Extra Virgin Olive Oil to beat in the year 2024.
