Valorize the excellent qualities of EVOO, promote the nutritional benefits of its use in the Mediterranean diet, promote the oil excellencies from all over the world: this is the mission of EVO International Olive Oil Contest®. For this reason, only the producers able to guarantee the traceability and origin of the products presented participate in the competition. Thanks to an important network of partnerships, a team of professionals and a jury of international importance, the contest is considered the most important oil competition in Italy and included in the top five international competitions dedicated to EVOO products.

EVO International Olive Oil Contest® bases its success on professionals of excellence, recognized worldwide, in the context of olive oil contests and in the organization of international events. The team, united by the same passion and the common idea of innovating and renewing itself, is led by Dr. Antonio G. Lauro, professional taster, founder of the “Prim’Olio” olive oil tasting committee, head of the panel of various international competitions and author of numerous thematic publications.

EVO IOOC Italy 2021 will be held in Italy (Palmi, RC) from May 17th to 28th 2021.
The samples of extra virgin olive oil must come from a consistent batch (minimum volume of 500 liters); condiments based on extra virgin olive oil must come from a consistent batch (minimum volume of 100 liters).

For registration and payment by January 31st 2021: the participation fee is € 220.00 (one sample only; € 195.00 each (up to 4 samples); € 175.00 each (between 5 and 8 samples); € 150.00 each (over 8 samples).
For registration and payment after January 31st, 2021: the participation fee is € 250.00 (one sample only; € 225.00 each (up to 4 samples); € 200.00 each (between 5 and 8 samples); € 180.00 each (over 8 samples).

The EVO IOOC Italy Competition will open registrations on October 16th, 2020 and will close on May 15th, 2021.
May 17th/20th 2021: tasting session of the EVO IOOC Italy;
May 22nd, 2021: announcement of the winners (Gold and Silver Medals);
28 Maggio 2021: nel corso della cerimonia di premiazione verranno annunciati i vincitori assoluti (Best in Class, Best of Country, Special Awards) di EVO IOOC 2021;
June 14th, 2021: publication of certificates on the website.
The competition is an event closed to the public while the awards ceremony where the results are announced is open to the public. Do you want to be present at the event? Contact us!
Four bottles or other suitable food containers, correctly labeled, must be sent.
The EVO IOOC Italy Competition will close the registrations on May 15th 2021 (last day of receipt of the samples in our offices).
All EVO oils and EVO oil-based dressings resulting winners of one of the prize categories in the competition will be included for free in the special guide dedicated to Buyers, which will be distributed during international events and sent to major world buyers.

The organization will provide, at the request of the company and for a fee, the HD file of the sticker showing the category of prize won, to be printed and affixed on the label.
The winners are authorized to affix the reproduction of the stamp only on bottles containing the same extra virgin olive oil or condiment of the winning sample. Any other use of the prize sticker is not allowed.
Price list of the files with the stamp certifying the category of prize won: A single stamp: € 150.00; two or more stamps: € 100.00 each.
D.D.P. Delivery Duty Paid. In the term “Duty Free Return” the seller fulfills the obligation of delivery by making the goods available to the buyer in the agreed place in the importing country. The seller must bear the risks and costs, including duties, taxes and other charges, in order to be able to deliver the goods to that place, cleared for importation.
