At Casa Gabriel Rodrigues, the slogan is: “passion for the land is part of our DNA”. Casa Gabriel Rodrigues is a company set up in 2010 and located in São Gabriel in Rio Grande do Sul. It is engaged in the production of extra virgin olive oil and other derived products. The olive groves are managed by the Rodrigues da Cunha family, whose history dates back to the 19th century with Gabriel José Rodrigues, whose name is now on all the company’s bottles. Today, after four generations, Marco Aurélio Costa Rodrigues da Cunha, great-grandson of Gabriel, together with his wife Maria Cristina, maintain the tradition and their love of the countryside is always in full blossom.
Subsequently, the investments have grown, in terms of cultivated hectares and technical development, but above all, it has been the love and long-term commitment made by the whole family that has increased; their dedication unfolds in each olive tree planted in São Gabriel, in the Fazenda Passo do Jacaré. Recently, Casa Gabriel Rodrigues has inaugurated its new laboratory where, in addition to the EVOO, other products such as shampoo, conditioner, candles, essential oils, soaps, and olives will also be made. Although the company is relatively young, in just a few years Casa Gabriel Rodrigues has become one of the most award-winning companies in Brazil, thanks to the many international awards it has received. The company has been on the top step of the podium in the EVO IOOC Italy consecutively in the year 2022 and 2023, with the Best International Coupage EVOO Southern Hemisphere, a category in which it continues to be the reigning champion, as well as being in the shoes of the Southern Hemisphere’sExtra Virgin Olive Oil Blend to smash in the year 2024.
